“Put music CDs on your desktop”
For all of you people who miss flipping through old CD covers, Clutter allows you to get back into the habit, what's more straight from your desktop. The application will show album cover art on your desktop, and you can move the covers around to how you like them. The album which is currently playing is shown in a program window, but you can simply launch another album in iTunes just by clicking on it.
Pictures can be added from Amazon or just by dragging and dropping them onto the "case" of one of the albums. Which brings us to one flaw in Clutter. If you don't have the album cover for more than one album, they'll all show a default cover, which won't look that great on your desktop. We also wonder how useful Clutter can be now that iTunes integrates Cover Flow, which also allows you to browse albums by covers. Some users have also complained that Clutter tended to crash every once in a while.
Clutter is a fun way of seeing your music library by displaying album covers on your desktop.
